Hi, this is Vince Ray, owner of Adventure
Surfing Lessons. I grew up surfing in
Hermosa Beach California and have surfed
most of the beaches from San Francisco to San
Diego. Having traveled many times to Hawaii,
Costa Rica, Mexico and the East Coast to surf,
we have surfed many different types of waves.
     Being a top amateur surfer, I won first place
in the American Surfing Association U.S.
Championships and second place in the ISA
World Championships. I have also placed in
the finals in many local surfing contests in the
South Bay. Also competed in these surfing
leagues- National Scholasic Surfing Association
and the Western Surfing Association.
     Competition can be fun but we enjoy
traveling and surfing and eating with friends.
Exploring exotic beaches and making new
friends is a favorite pastime.
     We have been teaching surfing and water
safety professionally since 1989. Join over

     I am an In Home Teacher for Manhattan
Beach Unified School District and am working
on a Masters Degree in Special Education At
Cal State Dominguez Hills. We took Red Cross
Lifeguarding  and Water Safety Instructor
classes at El Camino College.
     We carry a lesson plan on the beach and

     You may have seen me on the cover of the
local South Bay newspaper The Easy Reader
as "Surfing Santa" since 1999! Check out the

     Surfing is a magical, wonderful, exciting,
adventureous and fullfilling lifestyle. I wanted
to share this great sport and life. There were
very few surfing classes available so we started
Adventure Surfing Lessons in 1989. We
have the areas most experienced and popular
surf camp and surf lessons. Hope to see you in
